Inverters for Trucks & Lorries — Industrial-Grade Power on the Road

Pure sine wave. 24V. Built to a duty cycle, not just a price. Find your model by vehicle type.

A truck inverter has one job that the spec sheet rarely spells out: survive. Not just convert 24V DC to clean AC, but do it through engine vibration, cab heat, voltage sag at startup, and years of daily use.

This page covers our full range of inverters for trucks and lorries, organized so you can find the right model by vehicle type and power requirement, then move straight to the detailed spec page.

Choose Your Inverter by Vehicle Type

Not every truck draws power the same way. A long-haul semi running a cab full of electronics has different demands than a utility lorry powering tools on site. Start here.

Semi Truck

Semi Truck Inverters

For 18-wheelers and long-haul rigs. Higher wattage, 24V input, pure sine wave output to protect sensitive cab electronics — fridges, laptops, medical devices. Built for the driver who lives in the cab.

Heavy Duty

Heavy Duty Truck Inverters

For the most demanding commercial vehicles — construction, mining, freight. Reinforced thermal management, vibration tolerance, high output for heavy equipment. This is where industrial-grade matters most.

Lorry / Utility

Lorry & Utility Inverters

For lorries and service vehicles that need reliable AC on the move. Mid-range wattage, rugged build, flexible enough to run mixed equipment. If you searched for an inverter for lorry use, start here.

What "Industrial-Grade" Means for a Truck Inverter

The phrase gets thrown around. Here's what it actually changes in the field.

A consumer inverter is built to a price. An industrial-grade inverter is built to a duty cycle. The difference shows up in three places: thermal management that holds output when the cab is hot, a pure sine waveform clean enough that nothing downstream buzzes or overheats, and protection circuitry that shuts down gracefully instead of failing hard. Our inverters for trucks are engineered to the standard you'd expect from a 30-year OEM/ODM manufacturer — not assembled from the cheapest available parts.

That said, "commercial vehicle" describes the truck. "Industrial-grade" describes the build. You can put an industrial-grade inverter in a commercial van — and you should, if that van's livelihood depends on it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size inverter do I need for my truck?
Add up the continuous wattage of everything you'll run at once, then add headroom for startup surge — many appliances draw 2–3× their rated wattage at the moment they switch on. A typical semi cab often lands in the 1500–3000W range; heavy duty applications go higher. The detailed product pages list continuous and surge ratings per model.
Pure sine wave or modified sine wave for a truck?
Pure sine wave for anything sensitive — laptops, medical devices, variable-speed motors. Modified sine wave can run simpler resistive loads at lower cost. Most of our truck inverters are pure sine wave because the cost of a failed device on the road outweighs the saving.
Is an inverter for lorry use different from a truck inverter?
Functionally similar — both convert vehicle DC to AC. The difference is sizing and mounting for the specific vehicle. Our lorry and utility range is matched to those platforms.
Are these inverters industrial-grade?
Yes. They're engineered for duty cycle, not just price, and backed by IATF 16949, EMC, LVD, and UL certifications. Industrial-grade here means verifiable build standard, not a marketing label.
Can you build a custom inverter for our fleet?
Yes. As an OEM/ODM manufacturer, we build to specification — voltage, wattage, housing, and certification path. Contact us with your requirement.
